NEW -TigIR thermal imaging device extremely short design -
Presented for the first time at our authority events in September
This year we will present our highly anticipated TigIR-M thermal imaging device for military and police customers.
Whereas the TIMRO-X used to be the smallest thermal imaging target for short distances, the TigIR is now designed for much longer detection ranges. With its 55 mm thermal lens, it has a detection range of 3 km at a weight significantly below 500g. But the real special feature is its small overall length, which we could achieve by a multiple folded optic.
With the TILO™ series we are the manufacturer of the smallest and lightest thermal imaging goggles in the world. Compared to other devices, the TILO™ is at most half as long and only half as heavy as the smallest products of any of our competitors. Until now, the TILO-3's™ small size was combined with a sensor resolution of only 320×240 pixels.
The TIMRO-X™ is one of the smallest thermal imaging devices in the world. It can be used as a thermal imaging goggle as well as a thermal imaging aiming device on the weapon. Of course, it can also be used as a hand-held device. Due to its PAL/NTSC output it can also be used as a stationary observation device. Many SEKs in Germany and military special units worldwide take advantage of the TIMRO-X™.
The extremely small outdoor thermal imaging camera is particularly easy to hide due to its small size. Hardly thicker than a thumb, it delivers 320×256 pixel images and our new TISCAM-6™ even delivers 640×512 pixel high quality images. The standard version has a built-in socket for connecting a waterproof cable. This transmits the video data (PAL or NTSC) and supplies the device with power. In order to save weight, the TISCAM™ can also be supplied with a highly flexible special cable with open end or a plug according to customer requirements (e.g. Fischer plug connector).
From the residual light amplifier to the fusion device: fusion is the new standard for night operations. Certain tactical challenges can only be mastered with the combination of the two leading night vision principles, residual light amplification and thermal imaging. The expansion of the performance and functionality of already existing residual light amplifiers by the ClipIR reduces the acquisition costs of new devices to a minimum. Modern scenarios have requirements that are far above the possibilities of residual light amplifiers. Thus the use in complete darkness, smoke, fog and dense forest requires the unconditional use of thermal imaging technology.
We have been equipping police units with night vision technology at the highest level for years. For this we only use high quality tubes and housings. This certainly has its price, but anyone who has ever tried to save on tube selection will know what it's like to be satisfied with inferior tubes. Disturbing spots in the central area of the field of view are not acceptable for us. Especially not for special units, which still make up the majority of our clientele.
